Questions you may have about Solar Panel Installation

1. Do the solar panels fit on top of tiles or instead of them?

Either – you can choose between standard solar panels that fit on top of your roof or an integrated system that sits within the roof for a more unobtrusive result.

2. How long do they last?

Our solar panels are guaranteed for 25 years.

3. Can they go on any roof?

For the best results, panels should be installed on a South-facing roof with a pitch between 30° and 50° but any roof South of due East and due West is suitable.

4. What maintenance is required?

Very little maintenance is required. Panels that are tilted more than 15° will be cleaned by rain water.

5. Do I need planning permission?

Most solar installations do not need planning permission as long as the building is not listed or in a conservation area. To be on the safe side, we recommend you check with your local planning department.

6. Will I need a re-roof?

One of our experienced and qualified roofers will give you a free assessment on the suitability of your roof.
